Insurance against Accidents at Work guarantees Self-employed Workers or Workers on behalf of others, due compensation for damages suffered in the event of an accident.

SELF-EMPLOYED


The Accident at Work Insurance - Self-Employed Person (Own Account) whose contractual obligation is enshrined in law, aims to guarantee all types of Clinical Assistance, as well as Payment of indemnities and pensions in case of Permanent Disability or Death, in the event of an occupational accident that prevents him from performing, temporarily or permanently, his professional activity.


A worker is considered to be self-employed or on his own account when his or her activity is carried out in an autonomous manner, that is, without any employment relationship with any entity that benefits from the result of his or her work, being exempt from carrying out this insurance those self-employed workers whose production is exclusively intended for consumption and use by themselves and their household.

EMPLOYEE


The Accident at Work Insurance on behalf of others is a compulsory Objective Liability Insurance, which is intended to transfer, to an Insurer, the responsibility of employers for the accidents that occur with the workers at their service, whether linked by contract of employment or legally equivalent contract, practitioners, apprentices, trainees or all those who jointly or individually provide a certain service, as long as they depend economically on the employer.


The established Legal Regime applies also to administrators, directors, managers or equivalent, provided that these are paid employees.

DOMESTIC EMPLOYEES


The contracting of this insurance by the employer is mandatory. It is intended to compensate the employee for any accidents that may occur during the period in which he or she is employed. Travel coverage is included.


If you have a domestic worker and do not take out this insurance you will be fined and in addition, in case of an accident, you will have to bear the expenses related to her recovery and possibly her support.
